NORIAN Accounting is now looking for an Accountant General to support its growth! NORIAN combines financial management services and software robotics in a unique way in the Finnish market. At NORIAN you will get to be part of a Europe-wide company and work in a truly international environment.
As a Chief Accountant, you’ll join Norian’s 5-10 person accounting team and work with some of the best external accountants in the industry. As an Chief Accountant at Norian, you will be working on a wide range of assignments and interesting client engagements. You will be responsible for your own client portfolio in line with your interests and experience, and your work will include accounting, advisory, reporting, financial statements and tax declarations. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide other accountants working on the same client portfolios, develop and improve the efficiency of clients’ accounting and reporting processes, as well as participate in in-house development projects.

This is a full-time, permanent position with direct employment with NORIAN Accounting. We have offices in Helsinki and Jyväskylä, but you can also work remotely. The preferred starting date is as soon as possible.

Remote working and flexible working hours
The applicant is expected to have:
A suitable educational background for the job, for example, a business degree from a vocational school, university or university of applied sciences
Previous experience in a similar role for at least a few years
Accounting skills and knowledge of financial management systems
Good knowledge of Finnish and English
It is also an advantage to have:
Specialised knowledge of consolidated accounting, IFRS, corporate governance or tax issues
Payroll expertise
Systems knowledge, e.g. Netvisor, Procountor, Microsoft NAV / Dynamics 365 Business central, Xledger
