aTalent: Galton Voysey – Financial Controller

Galton Voysey is now looking for a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join their team in Helsinki, for a full-time and permanent position. You’ll become a part of a team which aspires to be the leading developer of direct-to-consumer brands.
As Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing financial functions and reporting, overseeing outsourced services, and contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of financial processes.
More specifically your responsibilities will include:
- Reporting: Generating monthly and ad-hoc financial reports, including sales and purchase invoices reporting
- Budgeting and forecasts: Provide monthly forecasts and periodic budget reviews. Maintaining and updating budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Accounts Payable: Managing and overseeing accounts payable tasks and coordinating with the process with service providers
- Coordinating and managing finance related tasks with external serviceholders, such as outsourced accounting and reporting
- Taking initiative of the finance processes and actively participating in process development
You’ll join a finance team of three people, where all team members get diverse tasks as their areas of responsibility. This provides great opportunities for learning and self-development in an international environment. The information you are able to provide has a significant value in helping steer high-value business decisions and eventually business growth.
What we expect from you:
- Previous working experience in financial control, reporting, taxation, and/or budget management
- Relevant degree in accounting, financial management, business or similar
- Solid skills with MS Office tools, especially Excel and working with large amounts of data
- Great collaboration and problem solving skills. You’re capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Full working proficiency in English
