Sponda – Trainee, Finance & Analytics
We have the perfect opening for a trainee in our Finance & Analytics unit. Join our Group Control team of four finance professionals as a trainee and take the first steps of your career in the world of commercial real estate financing. Our teams in Finance & Analytics unit have modern-day roles requiring a hybrid skill set, so with us you will gain broad knowledge on finance and reporting activities in our industry. You will primarily work in a junior controller role, but your will also learn from close cooperation with treasury, accounting, and analytics teams as well as through partnering with our business operation teams.

Goals for your traineeship period· Learn the fundamentals of our business and skills needed to succeed in commercial real estate finance team
· Learn the relevant controller tasks and skills to support business with timely and accurate historical and forecast financial data and analysis
· Take on independent and responsible tasks already from the beginning of your traineeship
As a trainee in the Finance & Analytics team, you will be working on a wide variety of controller tasks supporting your Group Control teammates in their daily work. You will for example:
· Participate in monthly management reporting which include analysis of our historical and forecast performance against plans and realization of our corporate goals
· Prepare statutory monthly closing reports for the group including IFRS P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and financial key figures
· Co-operate with business operations in the preparation of quarterly rolling 12-month forecast
· Support treasury team in liquidity forecasting and work closely with analytics team on operative key figures and shareholder reporting
· Participate in testing our new ERP system which will be implemented into use during 2024 · Responsibility and exposure based on your experience and level of studies. Your tasks and responsibilities will increase as your skills develop and you become ready for new challenges.

We are looking for people with an academic background who are eager to learn, proactively take initiative and have the drive to succeed. You enjoy solving complex problems and have a strong interest in commercial real estate and finance.
To succeed in this role, you will need an analytical mindset with attention to detail. Additionally, ability to work with a hands-on approach both independently and in collaboration with different teams is required. You feel comfortable on working with MS Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint. You are fluent in written and spoken English – the official company working language.
