Announcement of the SHS Student Council Elections 2022!
The Student Council elections will be held from October 26th to October 27th with an electronic pre-voting starting October 21st until the 25th.
During the actual election days, you can vote electronically from October 26th at 12AM to October 27th at 4PM.
The electronic pre-voting will be held 21st of October at 12AM to 25th of October at 11.59PM
The deadline for the registration period for candidates is Sunday October 2nd at 4PM, when all candidate lists must be signed and submitted electronically in a PDF file to kansli@shs.fi.
At the Student Union (Sanduddsgatan 7 A, Helsinki, second floor) you can also find the official electoral register, which is a list of all the registered students who may run as a candidate/ or vote in the Student Council elections this year. If you are unsure if you are registered or have the right to run; please check if you are on the list. If you suspect an error in the electoral register, please contact the President of the Central Election Commission, Emilia Öfverström (emilia.ofverstrom@shs.fi) no later than October 7th at 12PM.
The candidates who wish to join an electoral alliance and the electoral alliances who wish to join an electoral ring shall submit a notification to the President of the Central Election Commission, Emilia Öfverström(emilia.ofverstrom@shs.fi) or to the election commission in Vasa no later than October 7th at 4PM, after which the candidate lists are published.
