Student health service
The Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS) is an expert in student health care and, as a student
in higher education, provides you with general health, oral health and mental health services and
promotes the well-being of study communities.
You can use FSHS services during the fall semester 2021 in case you are studying for your
bachelor’s or master’s degree and you have paid the health care fee to Kela.

The health care fee for students in higher education is paid to Kela, and FSHS provides health
care services to students. FSHS do not charge a service fee for receptions. Learn more about the charge and invoicing here.
When you have paid the health care fee to KELA, you have the right to use the different FSHS student health service. This means that you can visit any of their healthcare stations.
FSHS provides general, oral and mental health services for students. You can book an appointment by calling the healthcare station. More information on what number you need to call and when can be found here

Contact information and opening hours of our service units can be found on the FSHS website
For you who study at Hanken in Helsinki, your nearest healthcare stations are at Töölönkatu 37 A in Helsinki or at Otakaari 12 in Espoo.
Using FSHS services ‒ also remotely
You can also do business with FSHS online and remotely. Self is a student’s own online service
through which you can maintain your contact information, manage appointments, chat, or arrive
at a remote reception. It is recommended that you start using the Self service as soon as you have paid the health care fee to Kela. FSHS also has access to OmaKanta where all of your earlier medical history is saved (if you have an Finnish ID number) to make sure you get the best possible treatment.
