Trip to Nuuksio National Park

Time to enjoy weather and fall colors in the beautiful Nuuksio National Park together with SHS!We will depart from the Student Union at 3PM with a charter bus. We will arrive to Nuuksio about one hour later, where you can choose to walk by yourself or with someone from the Student Union. We will have some snacks for you but don’t come hungry and remember to stay hydrated, so bring your own water bottle with you!


The bus will start its journey back to Helsinki at 7PM, so we will be back at the Student Union about 8PM. Remember to wear shoes that are comfortable for walking and waterproof/ windproof clothes.The registration link will be published 28.9.2020 at 12PM in the event. The event is free of charge!Please note that all participants attend this event at their own risk and you as a participant must consider whether you are comfortable attending a social event. Every participant also carries their own responsibility in minimizing the spread of COVID-19 virus.

Please be aware and follow the safety precautions that will be taken during this event:
– ALL participants are expected to wear a face mask during the bus rides. If you don’t own a face mask, SHS will provide you disposable face masks.
– The number of participants is limited, and the registration to the event will take place through Google Forms.
– Hand sanitizer will be accessible for the participants.
– It is possible to come to Nuuksio with own transport, please just inform sopo@shs.fiIf you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, fatigue, diarrhea, or a runny nose or have been around someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 you may not attend the event. Furthermore, if you have been abroad within 14 days before the event date, you should not attend the event.


If you become ill with the COVID-19 virus within 14 days of the event, please take the symptoms test at omaolo.fi and follow the instructions given by the Finnish authorities.
