Suomenlinna Picnic & Games with MC
🤩 Eager to get to know your fellow new master’s students before the official orientation starts? Join the Masters’ Committee and your tutors for a picnic and fun activities on the beautiful Suomenlinna island!
We bring the music, some snacks and games, you bring yourself, a picnic blanket and any beverages and snacks you are craving for.
We will meet at the ferry terminal in the Market Square (Kauppatori) at 17:00 and take the ferry to Suomenlinna at 17:20.If you can’t make it to that one, don’t worry! The ferry goes every 20 minutes. Just let us know if you are coming later and need guidance to get to Suomenlinna. We will also post our location on the day so no need to search for us around the island!
What: A fun picnic evening for new master’s students
Where: Suomenlinna island (ferry departs from the Market Square)
When: Tuesday, August 24th from 17:00 onwards
Price: The ferry can be accessed with all valid HSL tickets or you can purchase a single ticket (2,80€ per ticket) at the ferry terminal.
How: Meet us at the Market Square at 17:00 or join us later in Suomenlinna. Bring snacks, beverages and a picnic blanket for yourself and we take care of the rest. No registration is needed. Just let us know via this FB event if you are coming or not!

The number of participants is very limited to ensure that safety distances can be kept during the event.
Hand sanitizer will be available for everyone.
The participants will be divided into smaller groups.
All participants will be offered a face mask and plastic gloves for the event.
If you feel any symptoms, are ill or have been around someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 you may not attend the event. In addition, if you have been abroad within 14 days before the event you should not attend either. If you become ill with COVID-19 within 14 days of the event, do the symptoms test at omaolo.fi and follow the instructions given by authorities.
