Become a student representative on the Hanken Board!

The current term of the Hanken Board ends at the end of the year, and the Student Union is therefore looking for new student representatives to the Board. Since 2021, students have two seats on the University Board.

The Board is Hanken’s highest executive body and makes decisions on strategic matters, appoints the Rector, and decides on finances, among other things. As a student representative on Hanken’s Board, you are involved in making decisions while representing all students at Hanken and looking after their interests. The term of office in the Board is 3 years, in this case 1.1.2025-31.12.2027

To be able to apply for a student representative on Hanken’s Board, you must be registered at Hanken. The application period is open until Friday 23.8.2024. Send a free-form text about who you are and why you are applying as well as your CV to gensek@shs.fi within the application period!

After the deadline, all eligible applicants will be invited to an interview by the Recruitment Committee. As an applicant, you should also be prepared to attend the Student Union Council meeting in October or November for a final interview, after which the Council should decide who will be elected as a student representative on the Hanken Board.
