Nordic Forum 2024
From April 9–12, 2024, economic student organizations from across the Nordic countries gathered in Helsinki for the annual Nordic Forum – a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and discussions on common challenges. This year, KY hosted the event together with SHS, and we had the pleasure of welcoming participants from SASSE, NHHS, BI, and SHGS.
Focus on Common Challenges and Opportunities
The forum focused on internal challenges and how we can strengthen our organizations through collaboration and learning from one another. The program included inspiring presentations, workshops, and networking sessions where we shared experiences and insights. From discussions on leadership and sustainable development to concrete solutions for the everyday challenges of our student organizations – Nordic Forum once again demonstrated the value of bringing together young, engaged economic students under one roof.
More Than Just Meetings – Experiences and Community
However, the week was not only about formal discussions – we also had the opportunity to showcase Finnish culture through a traditional sitz at Casa, ice swimming and sauna at Allas Sea Pool, as well as shared dinners and gatherings. These moments created unforgettable memories and strengthened the bonds between our organizations.

We would like to extend a big thank you to the Nordic Council of Ministers’ funding programme for their support, which made this important initiative possible. Thanks to their funding, we have been able to continue building stronger collaboration among Nordic economic students and shaping the leaders of the future.
