Do you want to develop financial structures in a growing technology company and be part of building an internationally scaling startup?
What does the role include?
Groundhawk is now looking for a part-time (Junior) Business Controller to support internal accounting and its development. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, cash flow modeling, and developing key KPI metrics. You will also get to evaluate and tender a suitable billing system, as well as support management in financial reporting and analytics.
You will work closely with Groundhawk’s CEO, an operational finance professional, and an external financial management partner.
What kind of person are we looking for?
Groundhawk is looking for an analytical and proactive individual who wants to develop financial processes in a growing technology company. The role is well suited for a student in the final stages of their studies who already has some practical experience in areas such as budgeting, financial analysis, or controller-related tasks.
Success in this role requires an interest in understanding business operations and a willingness to develop financial monitoring in a growing startup environment. We particularly value a development-oriented mindset and the ability to approach new challenges proactively and without prejudice.
We expect from the applicant:
- A relevant degree in business or economics, or studies in the final stages
- Some previous experience in tasks related to budgeting, financial analysis, or controlling
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze and model financial data, as well as utilize modern AI tools to support work
- Experience with at least one financial management system
- Good command of Finnish and English
Additionally considered an advantage:
- Experience in a startup or growth company environment

Practical details:
In this permanent, part-time role (approximately 20h/week), you will be employed by aTalent People and work for Groundhawk. The preferred start date is as soon as possible. Groundhawk’s office is located in Otaniemi, Espoo, and we expect you to be able to work at the office as part of a flexible hybrid model. The salary is approximately €16–18/hour.
Recruitment process timeline:

- Interview rounds with Groundhawk during weeks 14–15
