aTalent: Aalto EE – Sales Trainee

Are you about to graduate and looking for a stepping stone for your career? Do you want to learn more about sales work in a consulting organization? Aalto EE is currently seeking two Sales Trainees for a six-month trainee period – could you be the reinforcement we are looking for in our team?
As part of the sales team, your responsibilities will include selling Aalto EE’s management training and development services to private and corporate clients, participating in internal sales development processes, team meetings, and other sales support tasks such as prospecting. The focus of the sales work will be on acquiring new clients.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in sales, particularly in acquiring new clients, through challenging tasks and an international network in the business and academic world. We also consider the possibility of continuation before the end of the internship.
The trainee position is specifically aimed at those in the final stages of their studies or recent graduates, but the role is also well-suited for career changers.
We Expect You To Have:
- An interest in sales and marketing, along with a results-oriented and proactive work approach
- Previous experience in sales or customer service roles
- Business understanding and a customer service-oriented attitude
- Good communication and presentation skills in Finnish and English
- Technical competence, particularly in using Microsoft 365
- A background in commercial education is considered an advantage
Practical Details:
In this fixed-term (6 months) and primarily full-time position, you will be directly employed by Aalto EE. Working hours can also be arranged at the 30-37.5 hours/week, especially if you are finishing your studies. The start date for the position is primarily in December 2024, but the exact timing will be agreed upon separately with the selected candidates. Aalto EE’s office is located in Töölö, Helsinki, and we expect you to be able to work flexibly in the office with your teammates. Depending on the situation, it is also possible to work partially remotely in a hybrid model. The salary for the position is €2600/month.
