As a Caruna summer intern, you can join us in making the everyday lives of hundreds of Finns better. How would you like a summer in Caruna’s invoicing service team, where you can challenge yourself with a variety of invoicing and receivables management tasks? As a member of the invoicing team, you will join Caruna’s customer experience and online services unit, and during your orientation you will get to know the entire unit’s operations in a variety of ways, which will give you a good foundation for your future career.
Caruna’s billing services team plays a key role in ensuring a good and consistent customer experience. As an invoicing service specialist, your main goal is to ensure a high quality customer experience and customer care. During the summer, you will work closely with Caruna’s collection partner. On your desk, you will have various back office tasks related to receivables management and collection, such as processing disconnection and switching requests. During your summer internship, you will gain a thorough understanding of the Finnish energy market and the billing and receivables management in the sector. You will work as part of a motivated, 10-person team of experts who will provide you with support for your daily work and guidance in taking over new systems and tools.
As a member of the invoicing service team, you will work closely with Caruna’s internal and external stakeholders, so you have a positive nature, customer service-oriented personality and, above all, you are a team player. Your work is thorough and precise and you strive for the best possible results, keeping Caruna’s customer promises in mind. You are self-motivated in your approach to your work and you take courageously to new assignments. You work well as part of a team, but are also capable of working independently. You will learn to use new systems at the beginning of your employment, and an ability to grasp different technologies will help you to get started. We don’t expect you to be an expert yet, but we do appreciate your enthusiasm for learning new things.
We expect you to have:
- Relevant university background in business (Years 1 to 4)
- Previous work experience, e.g. in customer service roles
- Fluency in written and oral Finnish and English
- Good knowledge of traditional office tools

The exact duration of the summer job is negotiable, but we hope that you could start at the beginning of May and continue working until the end of August. We hope that you will be able to work mainly on-site at Caruna’s offices during the summer – however, occasional remote working is also possible. You will be working directly for our client Caruna.
