Hankens Clay Shooting Club

Hanken’s Clay Shooting Club is working to promote sport shooting and lower the bar for curious students to get involved in the sport, as well as promote biodiversity and game preservation through hunting.

We make this possible by organizing the only Swedish hunting license course in Helsinki and offer students the possibility to exam the course at Hanken’s facilities. We also organize shooting range days, where experienced instructors teach the fundamentals of game shooting and gun safety for the participants. Apart from these events we also strive to actively inform interested individuals of news and tips & tricks around game preservation.

Our organization is based on three fundamental principles:
1. Promote and educate as many as possible in game preservation and the conservation of the Finnish biodiversity.
2. To provide access to sport shooting for a broader group of people from different backgrounds as well as promote that more women get involved in the hobby.
3. To increase the interest in local game from a zero-waste perspective, which in turn has a positive impact on the environment.
