Apply for the Central Election Committee Chairmanship
Are you curious about how election arrangements are organized? Do you want to lead the Central Election Committee responsible for SHS’s general assembly elections in the upcoming year? If you answered yes to one or both of these questions, you are encouraged to apply for the position of Chairman of the Central Election Committee!
What does it mean to be in the CEC? Each year, new members are elected to the student union’s general assembly, which serves as the highest decision-making body of the student union. The Central Election Committee (CEC) is responsible for overseeing and executing the election.
By being part of the CEC, you will gain insight into how an election is organized, while also having the opportunity to develop the entire electoral process at SHS, together with a motivated and friendly group, which you as chairman will recruit! The CEC consists of between five and nine people.
Submit an application to ansokan@shs.fi by 28.4.2024. Include your name and a statement of why you would be suitable as the chairman of the CEC!
