The following positions of trust are open to apply for:
- President of Gulnäbbskommittén 2024
- President of Freshers Committee 2024
Applications should be sent to ansokan@shs.fi at the latest on 14.2.2024 at 12.00. It is also possible to apply directly at the meeting 14.2.2024 at 18.00 without sending a written application.

This position of trust requires fluency in Swedish.
The Gulnäbbskommittén is looking for a new president that will be elected during the Student Council meeting on 20.2.2024.
Apply for President of Freshers Committee (FC) 2024
As President of the new Freshers Committee, you will have the main responsibility for introducing both the university and Finnish student life to the new English-speaking bachelor’s students.
Among your first tasks you can choose to recruit a Vice President of the committee and then jointly manage the recruitment process of the tutors. Your tasks will also include keeping in touch with Hanken, arranging training for the tutors and organising the events mentioned in the Committee Regulations. Otherwise, you have the freedom to do whatever you want to make the fall of 2024 unforgettable for you, the tutors and especially for the new freshmen!
The task is demanding, but also incredibly educational. Despite the great responsibility the post entails, it provides irreplaceable experience that you will definitely benefit from later in life. In addition to being part of an unforgettable autumn, you also have the opportunity to create an incredible community with your tutors and shape a new committee at the Student Union. This position of trust also gives you an excellent opportunity to get to know both the university and the Student Union better, as the position involved valuable cooperation with Hanken’s staff and close cooperation with the Student Union’s operational management.
