Summary of the Executive Board’s meeting 8/2021

The meeting was opened by Chairman Karlsson at 08.07 am

Notifications matters: 

  • Ståhlberg learned Donner how to sing

The following matters were addressed at the meeting:

  • The Executive Board elected Fanny Kesti as deputy student representative at the Department council of Accounting and Commercial Law
  • The Executive Board chose Robin Eriksson as their proposition to the Student Council as Deputy Student Representative to the University Council 
  • The executive board chose Emilia Sparf as their proposition to the Student Council as Deputy Student Representative to the University Council 
  • Made the position vacant for the position as sales coordinator for SHS on the Student Union’s website between 8.3-17.3.2021

Activities of the Executive Board:

  • SHS annual ball
  • Performance reviews of board members
  • Meeting with Hanken’s principal
  • Financial statement meeting
  • Finnish Government’s information session to students

Daniel Karlsson

  • Held a speech at the Solemn Conferment of SHS Annual Ball CXII and during the evening dinner (dinner speech pre-recorded though)
  • Participated in Hanken’s meeting regarding Covid-19 guidelines
  • Participated in meeting with UF
  • Meeting with Helena Strandell and Judith Budding

Emma Lindvall

  • The Lecturer of the Year
  • Individual meetings with the different groups within the Education Committee
  • Planned study circles for the freshmen courses in finance and statistics
  • Sustainability meeting with the responsible of sustainability in the executive board
  • Work related to recruitment of new student representatives and marketing of this
  • Other meetings

Emilia Winqvist

  • Meetings about sustainability
  • Annual Ball video 
  • Sent the newsletter
  • Meeting with Helena Strandell and Judit Buddingh

Alexandra Eriksson

  • Meeting with SSHV regarding wellness week in April
  • Translation of Equality Policy document started
  • KOTT21 survey started, created material for our social media

Emilia Donner

  • Had meetings and emailed with corporate partners
  • Had a budget meeting with the financial and administrative secretary about invoices from 2020
  • Planned the vappen festivities

Anton Nilsson

  • Q1 meeting done
  • Annual ball video done 

Daniel Hasselström

  • Coordinated Club Grants
  • Planned HFN with PK
  • Got a meeting with NIORD
  • Meeting with Finlands Ekonomer
  • Started translating the Equality Policy document

Sebastian Ståhlberg

  • Municipals election
    • In contact with candidates
    • In contact with potential debate leaders
  • World student capital
    • In contact with other student organisations
