Suomen Säätiötilipalvelu Oy is an accounting firm specialising in the comprehensive financial management of foundations and investors, is now looking for a Controller to strengthen its team in Helsinki! As a Controller you will be responsible for a wide range of financial management tasks for designated foundation and investment company clients.
As a Controller, you will be part of a 14-person professional team that encourages and supports you to learn and take on additional responsibilities as your skills develop. Your team will include controllers and accounting specialists as well as a team leader. Your varied and diverse responsibilities will include external and internal accounting tasks for your designated client companies. Your working days will include tasks such as accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and the development of financial management processes and systems. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various events and trainings in the field. Depending on your interests and skills, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to your job description.
If you are interested in the accounting field and have already gained previous work experience in similar financial management tasks, preferably for a couple of years, you could be the Controller that Suomen Säätiötilipalvelu Oy is looking for. As a Controller, you will work with a wide range of different clients, so we also expect you to have a service-oriented attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills, logical reasoning and organisational skills. We expect from you:
A suitable educational background or a post-graduate degree in a commercial field
Previous work experience in a similar role, preferably for a couple of years
Knowledge of financial management systems and Excel
Good Finnish language skills
It is also an advantage to have:
Additional qualifications in financial management.
Previous experience in an accounting office
Previous experience with Fennoa, Procountor or Visma Fivaldi
Knowledge of Swedish and English
Practical issues:
In this permanent, full-time position, you will be employed directly by the Suomen Säätiötilipalvelu Oy. The preferred starting date for this position is as soon as possible. Suomen Säätiötilipalvelu Oy’s office is located in Annankatu in Helsinki, but it is also possible to work remotely after orientation. The salary for the position will be around 3200 – 4800 €/month depending on your experience. Your job title will also depend on your previous work experience.
