Are you looking for new challenges in B2B sales and want to develop your consultative customer service skills? University Media helps companies connect with students through digital screens installed in universities, and is now looking for four (Junior) Account Managers to join their close-knit and energetic sales team. The team is open to a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds, so feel free to apply!

Starting as a (Junior) Account Manager, your role will focus on new customer acquisition. As your experience grows, you will also be able to manage existing client relationships, for example for the annual summer job campaign partnerships. Your daily work will cover the full scope of the sales process: prospecting customers, contacting them mainly by email and phone, scheduling appointments and actively meeting customers mainly remotely. University Media works with a wide range of companies, so you will get to work with well-known brands and learn to take into account the specificities and opportunities of both large and small companies.

To support your success, Universitätsomedia offers a comprehensive induction to the role, where you will learn about all stages of the sales process and work alongside more experienced Account Managers. You will join a team of 9 people, including slightly more experienced salespeople with a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds, as well as your colleagues who are starting out at the same time.

Practical issues:

The position is full-time and permanent, with a start date after the summer holidays around mid-August, but the exact start date is negotiable. The office of Yliopistomedia Group is located in Kampi, Helsinki, where the team mainly works together. After orientation, you can also work part-time remotely. The fixed basic salary for the position is € 2000-2500/month depending on your experience. The exact base salary and personal commission rate will be discussed later in the recruitment process. Once you have started working in sales, your realistic monthly income will be around €3000-4000/month. However, there is no salary cap for performance-based remuneration and in the best months, the most successful salespeople have even reached total monthly earnings of around €10 000.

You are expected to have:
An enthusiastic and goal-oriented attitude towards sales and preferably also previous experience in sales or sales-related customer service (B2C/B2B). You have the desire to develop as a sales and customer care expert!
A social and playful personality – you enjoy meeting new people, working in a team and also have the courage to consult and challenge customers when necessary
Ability to work independently and organise your own work
Good Finnish and English language skills, as well as the ability to take over the CRM system Pipedrive and other technical tools
Knowledge of the higher education field, e.g. from your own studies, is considered an advantage for the job
