    • Election of members to the Academic Council
    • Election of members to SYL’s General Assembly

  • MC Sitz Without Borders
    19:00 -04:00
    26 September, 2020-27 September, 2020

Is your inner wanderlust stifled by the rona-monster? Do you need to quench your travel thirst? If you could go anywhere, where would you go?

We know we miss the luxury of travel in these times of closed borders. Join us on Saturday, the 26th of September at Casa at 19.00 for the Masters Committee’s first Sitz of the year – Sitz Without Borders!

This sitz will be in English. You will find all the necessary information below, but remember to dress according to the theme – so dig out your ski or snorkeling gear, or whatever you wish you were wearing if you were on the holiday of your dreams! Or mix and match, wear your snorkel with your snowboarding pants! We want to be able to guess where you wish you could travel to right now – the best outfit will receive a prize! For those who are less familiar with the wonderful sitz culture of Finnish universities, a sitz is a traditional academic dinner party that entails singing, toasting, eating, some fun competitions and awkward jokes.

    WHAT: MC Sitz Without Borders!
    WHEN: Saturday 26/9 at 19:00
WHERE: At Casa (Hietaniemenkatu 7, entrance through the gate in the back)
FOR WHOM: All current Hanken students but especially master’s students!

NB! We recommend you to bring a songbook (SHS Sångbok) for the sitz. You can buy one from the IB bookstore! Bring a pen so you can leave notes in your fellow sitz-goers’ books
