APPLY TO THE EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC COUNCILS AS A STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE
Do you want to influence your studies and education at Hanken? The Education Council, along with the Academic Council, which means a student representative for both councils, is seeking the following student representative:
- One regular representative (Vasa)
- One substitute representative (Vasa)
As a student representative, you have the opportunity to directly impact your studies. Additionally, you’ll gain experience in meeting techniques and advocacy, the chance to expand your network within Hanken, and a trust assignment to add to your CV.
In exchange, you’re expected to participate in about two meetings per month, inform other student representatives about current issues, and be available for students who have questions and concerns about their studies. As a student representative, you’re also automatically a member of the SHS Education Committee, which coordinates the work of student representatives.
The task of the Educational Council is to develop education and pedagogy at Hanken. The Academic Council coordinates quality work and deals with strategic initiatives regarding education and research. Both councils address the most important educational issues at Hanken. Hanken’s rector serves as the chairman of the Academic Council, and a vice-rector leads the Educational Council.
