Hi all ambitious and creative Hanken students!
Do you want to be part of a motivated team of Hanken students who have the opportunity to contribute to the Student Union in a concrete and valuable way? Then the Business Committee can be something for you!
The business committee is an extension of the SHS board and is responsible for the union’s business collaborations. NU organizes e.g. Hanken Network Day and countless other corporate events, and is continuously looking for new cooperation opportunities with the business community. Corporate relations are also one of the Student Union’s most important sources of income.
The Business Committee’s tasks include the following:
- Sales to potential partners
- Regular interaction with current partners
- Planning and administration of events
- Marketing and PR tasks
What do you get out of being part of NU?
Well, you will be in close contact with the leading companies in the Finnish business community, you will practice essential business communication skills, meeting culture and event planning & execution. Last but not least, you will be a part a great and dynamic team and cooperate with other business committees both nationally and internationally!
How do I apply?
Applications should be sent to naringsliv@shs.fi by January 14th 2024. Write a brief (not too long) application explaining why you want to join NU, why you are a good candidate and which task you would be particularly interested in. Attach a picture of yourself in the application, and don’t forget to include your contact details. After the application, we will invite you to a casual interview, which we will begin to conduct already during the application period.
