Standpoint regarding Ukraine
Last week we heard some terrible news from Ukraine. SHS hopes to see a peaceful solution to the conflict.
SHS is working with Hanken and the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL) to find solutions for how to support students who are affected by the situation both directly and indirectly.
In this crisis that affects us all, it is important to remember that hate speech has no place in the student union or at our events. SHS is against racism and does not condone it in any form. The Student Union would like to urge everyone to work even harder to build our community and be there for each other in these difficult times.
The situation provokes strong emotions and we will provide information about available support services on our platforms. In addition, we encourage you to financially support the charities listed on our channels.
