Summary of the Executive Board’s meeting 37/2021

Place: SEB- Sanduddsgatan 7A, våning 2 & Microsoft Teams

Time: 17.11.2021 kl 10.00

Attending:

Daniel Karlsson,  Emma Lindvall, Emilia Winqvist, Anton Nilsson, Alexandra Eriksson, Daniel Hasselström, Emilia Donner, Sebastian Ståhlberg

The meeting was opened at 10.09 by Chairman Karlsson.

The following matters were addressed at the meeting:

  • The position as Financial and Administrative Secretary was announced as vacant 18.11-1.12.2021, since the current Financial and Administrative Secretary Alexander Therman has announced that he wishes to leave his position at the end of the year.

Notification matters

  • Emilia Donner & Alexandra Eriksson have represented SHS at the annual ball of Hämäläisosakunta.
  • Alexandra Eriksson has participated in a thank you dinner for the HOAS delegation.
  • Daniel Karlsson announces that SHS newly elected Secretary General starts working next week. 
  • FSF’s General Assembly will be held and Sebastian Ståhlberg, Emilia Donner, Alexandra Eriksson, Emilia Winqvist, Emma Lindvall and Oscar Byman will participate.
  • Daniel Karlsson mentions that Suomen Ekonomit’s General Assembly will be held 19-20.11.2021.

  • Schooled the new Secretary General

  • Getting familiarized with the material for the Finnish Business School Graduates’ general assembly

Emma Lindvall

  • Preparations for SYL’s General Assembly
  • Work with the business plan for 2022
  • Meeting with student representatives
  • Preparations for meeting of the Education Committee 8/2022
  • Recruitment of student representatives to the Education Council/Academic Council and the University Council

Sebastian Ståhlberg

  • General assembly
  • Business plan 

Emilia Donner

  • Meetings with Stora Enso and Talenom regarding a continued cooperation
  • Coordinated corporate relations related matters with committee members, e.g. ÅFK and PK
  • Represented SHS at the annual ball of Hämäläis-osakunta

Alexandra Eriksson

  • ​​Attended the OLL Federation meeting
  • Preparatory meeting before SYL union meeting
  • Represented SHS at Hämäläisosakunta’s annual party
  • Interest monitoring briefing
  • Read through material and prepared for the SYL union meeting
  • FSHS “Opiskelukykypäivä”

Daniel Hasselström

  • Planned upcoming events in the Student Union and had meetings with several committees regarding their upcoming events this fall
  • Planned and attended meetings regarding the student’s independence torchlight parade that will take place on 6.12.2021. SHS will be responsible for the sound and light at the Helsinki Senate Square during the torchlight procession and also fixing 2 guards for the event.
  • Coordinated and planned the Ekonombrevsutdelning
  • Has had a meeting with Heidi’s Bier Bar and planned Halarkalas at Heidi’s every Tuesday after the Halarutdelning
  • Have planned and added a facebook event for the SHS Holiday Week

Emilia Winqvist

  • Participated in the hankdammen
  • Fixed social media
  • Respond to inquiries to info@shs.fi
  • Preparations for the FSF meeting
  • Discussed with stakeholders regarding collaborations on event marketing
  • Worked on the website

Anton Nilsson

  • Coordination of bookings during the autumn and for the coming spring
  • Training in sound and light systems.
  • Recruitment of a new kurator continuous
