Announcement of the SHS Student Council Elections 2021!
The Student Council elections will be held October 25th to October 26th with an electronic pre-voting starting October 20-24th.
During the actual election days, you can vote electronically from October 20th at 12AM to October 24th at 4PM. You can also vote at Hanken during the election days on October 25th and October 26th from 11AM-4PM. The voting locations are in Hanken’s lobby in Helsinki (Arkadiagatan 22) and Hanken’s lobby in Vasa (entrance from Biblioteksgatan 16).

The deadline for the registration period for candidates is Sunday October 3rd at 4PM, when all candidate lists must be signed and submitted electronically in a PDF file to kansli@shs.fi.
At the Student Union (Sanduddsgatan 7 A, Helsinki, second floor) you can also find the official electoral register, which is a list of all the registered students who may run as a candidate/ or vote in the Student Council elections this year. If you are unsure if you are registered or have the right to run; please check if you are on the list. If you suspect an error in the electoral register, please contact the President of the Central Election Committee, Fanny Kesti (fanny.kesti@shs.fi) no later than October 3rd at 12PM.
The candidates who wish to join an electoral alliance and the electoral alliances who wish to join an electoral ring shall submit a notification to the President of the Central Election Committee, Fanny Kesti (fanny.kesti@shs.fi) or to the election committee in Vasa no later than October 6th at 4PM, after which the candidate lists are published.
