Summary of the Executive Board’s meeting 2/2021

Place:

The meeting was opened by Karlsson 10:03 

The following matters were addressed at the meeting:

  • Selected proposals for members of the SESS board for approval by the council for the term of 1 /2021-12 / 2021, Emilia Donner and Mikaela Löfström 
  • Made the position vacant for the position as sales coordinator for SHS on the student union’s website 
  • Made the position vacant for the ordinary student representative to the Academic Council on the student union’s website for 10 days 
  • Made the position vacant for the student representative to the Department of Marketing and Logistics on the student union’s website for 10 days 
  • Made the position vacant for the ordinary and deputy student representative to the Department Council for Financial Economics and Economics on the website for 10 days.

Actives of the Executive Board:

  • Held our first meeting with SSHV
  • Photoshoot of the new Executive Board

Daniel Karlsson

  • Participated in meeting with the committee at Hanken for guidelines regarding Covid-19.
  • Participated in two meetings with the Badge and Scholarship Committee at SHS.
  • Trained the new Financial and Administrative Secretary in his work tasks.
  • Booked a training opportunity in meeting techniques and lobbying for the Executive Board with the Finnish Association of Business School Graduates (Suomen Ekonomit)
  • Presented SHS and our activities for the exchange students of the spring semester

Emma Lindvall

  • Planned the first Education Committee meeting.
  • Worked on the organizing of the Lecturer of the Year award.
  • Updated the list of student representatives.
  • Been in touch with the heads of the departments at Hanken and scheduled meetings with them.

Daniel Hasselström

  • Meeting about events and online events at Hanken  
  • Presented SHS to all the new exchange student at Hanken and for Inspirational India Project
  • Have started the Vappen21-Team recruitment 

Alexandra Eriksson

  • Presented SHS for Inspirational India project with Dante
  • Updated the text to shs.fi regarding FSHS
  • Been in contact with the current SupportStudent and SSHVs “SoPo” board member
  • Meetings with WSC
  • Education

Anton Nilsson

  • Started discussion with KSO regardning the renovation of Casa kitchen
  • Started collecting student union keys 
  • Started investigation/game plan of Casa kitchen renovation

Emilia Donner

  • Had a kick-off and educational workshops with the new Business Committee teams
  • Had meetings with several companies and other strategic persons and planned even more meetings (e.g. Meltwater, SEB, ÅFK, the Corporate Team of Hanken, Markus Wartiovaara)
  • Decided together with Ville Toivari (Head of Corporate Relations at SSHV) and Frida Udd (Head of Corporate Relations at MK) to partner within the Company of the Week project during the upcoming spring term

Emilia Winqvist

  • Arranged the photoshoot for the executive board and updated information on shs.fi and social media. 
  • Had meetings about the archives on the student union.
  • Meetings about sustainability with Hanken.
  • Coordinated social media & news letter

Sebastian Ståhlberg

  • Meetings with WSC
  • Educational
  • Operations and activities during the spring
  • Started planning the municipal elections together with other student associations.
  • “IBUs” activities

Other matters:

  • Nilsson informs the Board of a list of keys to the student union active members
