Meeting Abstract of the Executive Board’s meeting 32/2020

Attending: Fanny Hindsberg, Nea Olsson, Filip Jägerroos, Eliott Tallqvist, Oscar Byman, Axel Toukkari, Joakim Kiuru, Maisa Dyhr, Kristiane Width

The Executive Board made decisions in the following matters during the meeting:

-Alfred Söderman is chosen to reserve student representative to the department council for finance and economics.

Executive Board activities:

Common:

  • Worked on and presented a draft for the operational plan and budget for 2021
  • Promote the Executive Board and its recruitment on shs.fi, SHS instagram and SHS Facebook
  • Plan the education for the new Executive Board and finish projects for the year.

Fanny Hindsberg

  • Meetings with Gensek, Student Council president, and Rasmus Sinnemaa
  • Prepared for and participated in SYLs general assembly (2 days)
  • Prepared for Finlands Ekonomers general assembly

Oscar Byman

  • Meeting regarding clubs operations
  • Prepared for and participated in SYLs general assembly
  • Meeting with Gun Oker-Blom from the National Agency for Education regarding education in Swedish in Finland

Eliott Tallqvist

  • Meeting with the Department Council Representatives from the Marketing and Logistics Department Council
  • Meeting with Gun Oker-Blom from the National Agency for Education regarding education in Swedish in Finland
  • SYL general assembly (2 days)

Joakim Kiuru

  • Coordinated contract renewals with e.g. SEB, BearingPoint, Deloitte and Suomen Ekonomit
  • Met with Akseli Manninen from the Executive Board of KY to benchmark their sales coordinator role
  • Participated in Niord’s executive board meeting

Maisa Dyhr

  • Meetings with SportsNetwork and HOAS
  • SYL general assembly (2 days)
  • Mental Health Week campaign

Nea Olsson

  • Personal contact with the presidents regarding their events, safety plans
  • Planning the “Holiday Week” – event
  • Students’ Independence Day Torchlight Procession – meeting (x2)
  • Meeting with Sportsnetwork

Filip Jägerroos

  • CASA MANUAL DONE! Penalty system + mini manuals for all our facilities 
  • Juha Vesa classicer
  • Housing company coordination and discussion

Axel Toukkari

  • Coordinated shs social medias
  • Finetuned the english version on SHS.fi
  • Updated the websites SSL certificate
  • Centralizing student union photos to one place

Other matters

  • Jägerroos informs that the Casa Manual has been finished and published on the website. Entails 37 pages regarding the Student Union’s spaces
  • The Executive Board has updated its recommendations and restrictions regarding events at the Student Union on its website.
