Point Capital is now looking for a part-time analyst to join its team in Helsinki! Are you the self-motivated and enthusiastic management consultant we are looking for?
As an analyst, your tasks will include financial modelling with Excel, data collection and processing, preparing various analyses and market studies, preparing offer and project materials, contacting various parties, as well as tasks in the daily management of the office. You will also be involved in supporting clients in resolving financing arrangements related to M&A or business development. In the role of analyst, you will be involved in the overall M&A and financing processes and will contribute to the success of the projects through your work, for example by contributing to the financial analysis of the financing structure of the arrangements and the financial analysis of the target. As an employee, we expect you to be self-motivated, determined and efficient.
The Analyst is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible or by arrangement. The working hours (0-37.5 h/week in the contract) vary depending on the project and the job can be easily combined with studies. On average, the working hours have varied between 30 and 70 hours per month, but due to the project nature of the work, we would like to have the flexibility to work more hours from time to time. For summer 2024, there are no full-time hours available, but the workload can be adjusted to your situation and other summer work, for example.
We expect you to have:
- Relevant studies (e.g. business/engineering, finance/industrial engineering) and a good academic record
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- An analytical, accurate and problem-solving approach, with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in financial markets
- Strong knowledge of Finnish and English
- Willingness to commit to at least one year of part-time work, as well as flexibility to work on a variety of projects
