Skyr Finland Oy, an importer of original and authentic Icelandic skyr, is now looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial Marketing Specialist in Helsinki! This is a brand new, versatile and responsible role where you will be able to influence how Ísey Skyr products are marketed in Finland.
As a Marketing Specialist, you will join Skyr Finland’s team of five and be responsible for the overall marketing of the unique dairy product Ísey Skyr in Finland. Ísey Skyr products are protein-rich, non-fat / low-fat and creamy delicious flavoured yoghurt – the best snacks on the milk shelf. As a Marketing Specialist, you will both plan, implement and develop effective marketing activities to ensure the visibility and appeal of Ísey Skyr products to the right target groups in the right places. Your working days will include marketing strategy work, social media marketing, influencer relations and coordination of trade fairs and exhibitions. However, as our company is small, your job description may also include other tasks. Your exact responsibilities and, for example, your job title will eventually take shape according to your previous experience and interests!
We hope you have a suitable educational background and previous experience in marketing, various marketing tools and social media channels. However, you don’t need to have years of experience in similar tasks, but what matters to us is your willingness to learn, your courageous and proactive attitude and your good interaction and communication skills. This is a permanent, full-time position, where you will be employed directly by Skyr Finland Oy. The ideal starting date for the position is 1.4.2024, but the starting date is negotiable. Skyr Finland Oy’s office is located in Helsinki, but it is also possible to work remotely.
The applicant is expected to have:
A suitable educational background, for example in marketing or communications
Previous experience in a similar role for at least approximately one year.
Understanding and competence in different marketing tools/platforms and social media channels.
Good Finnish and English language skills
In addition, it is considered an advantage to have:
Swedish language skills
