HankAI

HankAI is an SHS student-led club for business and economics students who want to be ahead of the curve. AI is already reshaping how businesses operate, how decisions are made, and what employers look for in their next hire, and HankAI exists to make sure Hanken students are not just watching that shift happen, but leading it. No computer science background required. No technical jargon. Just a curiosity for business and the drive to understand what AI actually means for your career and the world around you.

Our club has two primary objectives:
• To equip members with an applied understanding of AI in business and economics contexts.
• To organise events, workshops, and hands-on sessions that connect students with practitioners and real-world AI applications.

What we offer:
We offer members early exposure to AI tools, thinking, and use cases that are directly relevant to careers in business, finance, marketing, consulting, and beyond. Through interactive events and practical sessions, members develop the AI fluency that employers increasingly value, making it easier to stand out in a rapidly evolving professional landscape.
Beyond events, HankAI runs internal projects where members build real AI products, both for SHS and for themselves. Whether contributing to club initiatives or developing and shipping their own ideas, members get hands-on experience that goes well beyond the classroom. At HankAI, thinkers become builders.

Membership structure:
Membership in HankAI is open to all Hanken students regardless of major or year. Throughout the semester, we organise panel discussions, workshops, and hands-on sessions covering AI applications across different business fields. Members are encouraged to actively participate, collaborate on projects, and contribute to the club’s initiatives.
