Suomen Ekonomit

Suomen ekonomit is the central organisation for business students and graduates in Finland. The organization offers, among other things, career support, legal advice, training and a large network for its members. At Hanken, a designated contact person (Kylli) serves as the link between the association and the students.

You are automatically a member of Ekonomit through SHS. As a student member, you gain access to the Kylteri job search service, the thesis service, benefits worth over a thousand euros, as well as super fun courses and events. Log in to eLounge and explore these! Ekonomit also works to strengthen economists’ education and their position in the labor market. If you work during the summer or alongside your studies, you can also join the KOKO fund and start collecting the required work months to become eligible for unemployment benefits in the future.
