    F1 Watch Party

    Any F1 fans out there? In that case it’s lights out and away we go! The Exchange Committee (EC) is hosting a watch party at Casa for this week’s Dutch Grand Prix 2021, so anyone up for some race action is more than welcome!

    The race is scheduled to start at 16:00 (4 pm) Finnish local time, so arrive a bit earlier to avoid missing the start! Bring your own snacks and beverages, we offer the atmosphere and the screen. We’ll be watching the race at Casa, Hankens own party place.

    Hopefully we’ll see you there 🏎️🏁

    Guys, welcome to Finland! It’s time for your Welcome Dinner. 

    A sitz is a dinner party, which involves a three-course meal and lots of singing, fun games and competitions. Sitzes are a student tradition especially among students in Swedish-speaking universities.

    Tuesday 7th of September. Starting with mingle and a welcome drink at 7 PM. The sitz starts at 8 PM and ends 12 PM.

    The sitz will take place at Casa. The address is Hietaniemenkatu 7A, but the entrance is on the other side of the building.

    The sitz will be held in English

    Welcome to Student Council’s first fall meeting!

    On behalf of the President, the Student Council of SHS will convene to meet on Tuesday September 14th at 5PM. The meeting will take place on the virtual platform Microsoft Teams. The link to the meeting can be found here

    Matters discussed at the meeting will include:

    • Follow up of the Student Union’s budget of Q2

    • Determine dates of the Student Council Elections 2021

    • Electing members to the SYL delegation

    • Presentation of the Student Union’s medium term financial plan

    Ernst & Young, one of the largest professional services networks in the world, invites student from Hanken to join them on a relaxed afterwork at the student union. As a participant, you will get information about EY:s ongoing Trainee recruitment and a chance to chat with EY professionals.
