Welcome to attend the Student Council’s election meeting Monday November 23rd, starting at 6PM!

The Student Council will make decisions regarding to matters such as:

The following matters will be discussed:

• Electing the President of Casa Nostra 2021
• Electing the Treasurer of Casa Nostra 2021
• Electing the President of Exchange Committee 2021
• Electing the President of Program Committee 2021
• Electing the President of Sports Committee 2021
• Electing the President of Information Committee 2021
• Electing the President of Masters’ Committee 2021
• Electing the President of Elder’s Council 2021

As a member of the Student Union, you are entitled the right of presence to the Student Council’s meetings. Please email the Secretary General (gensek@shs.fi) how you wish to attend (virtually or physically)!

SHS erbjuder studiecirklar i 1135 Introduktion till ekonomisk analys

Under kursens gång kommer det att ordnas studiecirklar av SHS, där ni gulisar kan delta och få hjälp med kursmaterialet. Kom gärna i grupp, då poängen med dessa studiecirklar är att ni ska lära er av varandra. Till er hjälp kommer det vara studerande med nationalekonomi som huvudämne. De kommer att vara på plats för att presentera användbart material för kursen, hjälpa till med övningarna samt att svara på era frågor.

Angående COVID-19:
Alla deltagare deltar i evenemang på eget ansvar och du som deltagare bedömer själva ifall du är bekväm att delta i ett socialt evenemang

Följande säkerhetsåtgärder har tagits för detta evenemang:

• Om du känner symptom, är sjuk eller om du har umgåtts med någon som har testat positiv för COVID-19 bör du inte delta på evenemanget. Samma gäller ifall du har vistats utomlands inom två veckor innan evenemanget.
• I fall du insjuknat i COVID-19 inom två veckor eller har symtom av viruset, ta symptomsbedöningstestet på omaolo.fi för att ta reda på ifall du bör ta corontatest och följ rådande anvisningar.
• Om du har förkylningssymptom eller blivit exponerad för smitta, ska du inte komma till Hanken.
• Stark rekommendation att deltagarna använder munskydd under evenemanget.

SHS följer dagligen med läget och är beredda att flytta eller ändra evenemanget ifall det kommer att krävas.

HO HO HO, it’s that time of the year again and MC is here to kick off the Christmas season and SHS Julveckan – Holiday Week with a bang! Join us on Saturday, November 28th at Santa’s secret workshop (aka Casa) to enjoy the Christmas spirit and get all your Christmas crafts done well in advance!

Put on your overalls, Santa hat and ugliest Christmas sweater and come decorate Christmas cookies, create your own Christmas tree ornaments and make Christmas cards for your family and friends – we’ll provide all the craft supplies and some hot glogg of course!

WHAT: An evening of Christmas spirit, glogg and Christmas crafts
WHEN: Saturday, November 28th at 18:00-21:00
WHERE: Casa (entrance through the Student Union at Hietaniemenkatu 7 A, 2nd floor)
FOR WHOM: All Hanken students
PRICE: Free!
DRESS CODE: Christmas + overalls (if you have them)

The sign-up for this event opens on Friday, November 20th at 12:00 and the sign-up link will be published in the Facebook event. The number of participants is very limited, so we recommend you to sign up fast to secure your spot at the event!

All participants attend the event at their own risk and you as a participant must consider whether you are comfortable attending a social event. Every participant also carries their own responsibility in minimizing the spread of COVID-19.

Following safety precautions will be taken during this event:
• The number of participants is very limited to ensure that safety distances can be kept during the event
• Hand sanitizer will be available for everyone
• The participants will be divided into smaller groups of 3-5 in different craft stations
• All participants will be offered a face mask and plastic gloves for the event

If you feel any symptoms, are ill or have been around someone that has tested positive for COVID-19 you may not attend the event. In addition, if you have been abroad within 14 days before the event you should not attend either.If you become ill with COVID-19 within 14 days of the event, do the symptoms test at omaolo.fi and follow the instructions given by authorities.
