AfterWork is back! With covid restrictions easing up, MC is happy to announce that we are bringing back our monthly AfterWork’s at Bar Favela! Take a break from your studies, come socialize with fellow students, enjoy special MC prices on some beers and cidres, and try their yum food!

On behalf of the President, the Student Council of SHS will convene to meet November 4th at 5PM. The meeting will be held in the teacher’s lounge at Hanken in Helsinki, in Vaasa as well as on the meeting platform Microsoft Teams.

Matters discussed at the meeting will include:

• Presentation of the draft for the operational plan for 2022
• Presentation of the draft for the budget of  2022
• Changing the Masters’ Committee’s operational period
• Electing the Secretary General of the Student Union

As a member of the Student Union, you have the right to attend the Student Council’s meetings. The audience is welcome to attend the meeting via Microsoft Teams, the meeting link will be posted here on November 4th.

The talentshow will be organized at Hanken and a afterparty for Hanken students + avecs will take place at Casa.

This event is cancelled due to the weather condition

Looking to relax and get some fresh air for the new period? How does walking in the nature and warming up by the fire with friends sound? How about some crisp sea air and sausages grilled over an open fire?Join MC for a walk around the beautiful Uutela nature trail. After some urban hiking we will stop at an outdoor cooking shelter to eat some snacks and grill sausages.

Uutela is a recreational area by the sea in Eastern Helsinki, just a quick 10-minute walk away from Vuosaari metro station. To make it even easier, we will meet at the metro station at 14:00 and walk together to Uutela.

We will bring the barbeque equipment, utensils, ketchup and mustard but remember to bring your own sausages, veges or what ever you feel like eating.

WHAT: An afternoon of Walking and BBQ

WHERE: Uutela in Eastern Helsinki. You can meet us at Vuosaari metro station or join us later in Uutela

WHEN: We meet at Vuosaari metro station at 14:00. If you want to join us later in Uutela, send a message to Ramona to get the coordinates

FOR WHOM: For all Hanken studentsWHAT TO BRING: Warm, preferably waterproof clothes, good shoes for walking, something to sit on and something to barbeque
