Become a student representative on Hanken’s Board!
A current student representative is graduating and therefore cannot continue on the Board of Hanken. A replacement representative will be elected for a term ending on December 31, 2027.
The Board is Hanken’s highest executive body and, among other things, makes decisions on strategic issues, appoints the Dean, and decides on financial matters. As a student representative on Hanken’s Board, you participate in decision-making while representing all students at Hanken and safeguarding their interests. The term of office on the Board is typically 3 years.
To apply for the student representative position on Hanken’s Board, you must be enrolled at Hanken. The application period is open until Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Send a brief statement about who you are and why you are applying, along with your CV, to gensek@shs.fi by the application deadline!
Applications will be reviewed by the Election Committee. As an applicant, you should also be prepared to attend the Student Council meeting in May for a final interview, after which the Council will decide who will be elected as the student representative on Hanken’s Board.
Any questions can be directed to utbildningspolitik@shs.fi.
The Election Committee consists of Veeti Ståhlberg, Ellen Lönnqvist, Ville Ruokonen, Onni-Mithra Ingus, and Milla Ilmarinen.
