Svecasa is looking for new board members for the 2025/26 operational year
Svecasa Oy Ab is seeking new board members for the 2025–2026 operational year. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the work of a limited liability company’s board!
Svecasa Oy Ab was founded in 1978 and the company offers preparatory courses for the entrance exams for Swedish speaking business schools in Finland, i.e., for schools such as the Hanken School of Economics and the business program at Åbo Akademi. The prep courses take place in the spring and are divided into an intensive course, an online course, and a language course. Currently, the company consists of a CEO, a marketing manager, lecturers, and a board. The company is owned by the Svenska Ekonomie Studenters Stiftelse(SESS).
We are looking for members with diverse backgrounds, experience, and majors. The most important thing is that you are interested in taking an active role in the board and developing the company while gaining experience in board work. Note that you do not need previous experience in board work, which makes Svecasa the perfect place to start your career as a board professional. Proficiency in Swedish is required.
The board’s task is to develop the company’s operations and act as support and brainstorming partner for the CEO. The board holds regular meetings during the fall of 2025 and the spring of 2026. A small board fee is paid to each member for their work and participation in meetings.
