aTalent: Aurora Infrastructure – (Junior) Controller

Aurora is seeking an active and analytical (Junior) Controller to join its finance team for a fixed-term contract of at least one year, covering parental leave. As a Controller, you can be at the early stages of your career and grow within this role in a responsible and expanding company.
In this position, you’ll dive into the financial operations of a growing, private equity-owned company and gain diverse experience. Your responsibilities will include controlling tasks related to budgeting, electricity network tariff calculations, monthly and quarterly reporting, and financial statements. A key part of the role also involves tasks related to company financing, such as financial modeling, analysis, and reporting for infrastructure financiers. Responsibilities will also include sustainability work, such as preparing for CSRD reporting. You’ll work closely with Aurora’s CFO, who will provide valuable guidance and support.
This role is well-suited for a recent graduate or a final-year student who enjoys both routine financial tasks and modeling and analytical work. As a (Junior) Controller, you’ll be able to understand the company’s finances as a whole while paying attention to details. Positivity, accuracy, an independent work approach, and a sense of responsibility are natural traits for you.
Requirements:
- A degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- Relevant work experience, such as internships in finance or financial administration
- Excellent MS Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Analytical mindset, precision, and the ability to comprehend large entities
- Good proficiency in Finnish and English

Practical Details:
In this fixed-term, full-time position, you will be directly employed by Aurora Infrastructure. The position starts in February 2025 and is expected to last about a year. The office is located at Erottaja in central Helsinki, but after onboarding, you can primarily work remotely. The salary is approximately €3,500-3,900/month, depending on experience, and will be negotiated individually.
