Astara is currently looking for a Product Marketing Trainee to join their team for a new product launch. The duration of the internship and weekly working hours can be flexibly adjusted, making it ideal for a student interested in the automotive industry!
As a Product Marketing Trainee, you will participate in the launch of a new Mitsubishi car model in Finland. Your tasks will include preparing for the launch and assisting with various product marketing-related duties. In your daily work, you’ll focus on tasks such as gathering product information and creating, translating, and proofreading various marketing materials. You’ll ensure that the sales team, retailers, and website have up-to-date information on the new product. Additionally, you’ll prepare various reports to support sales and marketing, such as market analyses. You will work closely with the Product Manager.
You might be the person we’re looking for if completing an internship alongside your studies suits you, and you want to gain experience in the automotive industry. We don’t expect you to be a fully trained professional yet—what matters most is your eagerness to learn and genuine interest and motivation for the role. The role includes creating materials in Finnish, but you’ll communicate with your supervisor in English, so strong proficiency in both Finnish and English is required.

We expect from you:
- Ongoing higher education studies relevant to the position, e.g., marketing, finance, or accounting
- A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn about product marketing
- Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle numerical and detail-oriented data
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel, and a readiness to learn new systems—at Astara, you’ll also work with Salesforce
- Strong communication skills in both Finnish and English, both written and spoken
Additionally, the following would be considered an advantage:
- Previous experience in similar tasks or the automotive industry
Practical Details:
In this fixed-term and part-time position, you will be employed directly by our client, Astara Auto Finland. The role will start as soon as possible, ideally in October. We hope you can work at least around 20 hours per week and for approximately 6 months, but if necessary, a shorter internship with more hours is also possible. The office is located in Espoo, and partial remote work is possible depending on the tasks. However, we expect you to be ready to work regularly in the office to ensure smooth onboarding. The salary for this role is between 2000–2400 €/month, depending on your level of study and skills, with the exact salary negotiated individually.
