Exchange Committee is looking for new members!
Are you engaged, happy and interested to become a tutor for Hanken’s exchange students in the autumn of 2024? Do you have time to party, travel and organize events with a group of tutors alongside your studies? If your answer is yes, then it is exactly you EC is looking for!
As a tutor you welcome the new exchange students at the airport and show them their new homes, organize sitzes, pub crawls and other amazing events throughout the semester. You’ll get to socialize with a lot of people from all around the globe! EC organizes even several trips e.g., to Lapland, Tallinn and Stockholm. Through being an EC tutor you’ll become a part of a lovely team of tutors, get new friends from both Hanken and around the world, and have a great opportunity to brush up on your language skills.
Does this sound like something for you? Send a freely formulated application where you describe yourself and why exactly you would make a good tutor for exchange students. Please attach a picture of you and your contact information, too. Send the application to: ec.ansokan@shs.fi.
Note that the tutoring already starts when the exchange students arrive in Finland, i.e. one week before the actual semester at Hanken starts. We hope you can be active from the very beginning!
Don’t hesitate to ask questions if you have any! You can contact me via e-mail or on Facebook. You can even ask other EC tutors, if there’s anything you’re wondering about.
Please send in your application LATEST on the 5th of May before midnight. The interviews will be held as the applications are received.
