PwC – Audit Trainee

Start your career in auditing! We are now looking for final year students to grow into audit specialists.

The role will give you the opportunity to see many practical examples of what you have learnt in your studies and to apply theory to practice. You will see the whole audit lifecycle and gain insight into the financial picture. Our wide range of clients includes a large number of companies listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, growing and internationalising start-up and scale-up companies, subsidiaries of international companies and non-profit organisations.

Your work as a trainee will include working on various reports, analyses and calculations, as well as internal meetings. You will also be involved in client meetings and quickly gain more responsibility. We use modern tools and take advantage of the opportunities offered by digitalisation in our audit work. As a trainee, you will get an excellent basis for your career in audit.

Is it your turn to join us?

The paid trainee period will start in September or December 2024 and the traineeship will last until March or April 2025, if possible. Part-time work is also possible during the autumn period, but from January onwards we expect to offer the possibility of full-time work. We offer you responsible tasks and a wide range of opportunities for development and advancement. You will work closely with clients and support them in various financial management issues.

We expect you to have:

  • studied or are studying accounting or finance (or equivalent) at university or university of applied sciences and are in the final stages of your studies
  • a basic understanding of accounting (e.g. through studies) and knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Excel)
  • fluency in Finnish and English both orally and in writing, knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage

Even more important than previous work experience is the willingness to learn and be enthusiastic about audit-related tasks and assignments and the ability to be flexible when needed.
