Aspo is now looking for an active and enthusiastic trainee to join their sustainability team in 2024, could that be you? The trainee role is suitable for a final year student or a talented graduate who wants to deepen their knowledge in the field of corporate responsibility!

In this role, you will be involved in a number of projects that contribute to the achievement of Aspo Corporation’s and its subsidiaries’ sustainability objectives. In addition, you will be responsible for Aspo’s Position Green reporting and will also be able to support other business development projects as required. On a day-to-day basis, your tasks will include business data collection, analysis and reporting, preparation of materials and project team meetings, meeting scheduling and other support tasks. The role will involve extensive collaboration with different members of the organisation, in particular the accountability team, Aspo management and the external consultant. As the job description is completely new to the organisation, it will also be shaped by the background and skills of the person selected.

The traineeship will run through 2024 and we hope that you will be able to start as soon as possible. You can work either full-time or part-time, for example if you are just finishing your studies. However, we hope that you are willing to work at least 3 days a week and that you are flexible in arranging working days.

We expect you to have:
A relevant educational background, for example in business or sustainability
An understanding of responsibility and sustainability issues and a passion to work and develop in promoting them in the business world.
Active working attitude, good organisation and problem-solving skills, and flexibility in working on different tasks.
Proficiency in O365 tools, and in particular PPT and Excel skills and the ability to handle large amounts of data
Good Finnish and English language skills

It is also an advantage to have:
Previous experience in management consulting and project work
Experience in business analysis and/or data processing
Swedish language skills
