Company of the Week: SEB
Warm welcome to SEB’s Company of the Week!
Founded in 1856 in Sweden, SEB has evolved into a prominent financial services group across the Nordic region. In Finland, we established our presence in 1984, and today, we’re a team of 300 professionals operating from our welcoming and modern office in Eteläesplanadi. In Finland, our focus is on corporate and investment banking, private banking, and corporate card services. Our clientele spans across large corporations, institutional clients, individual customers, and family offices. We offer a diverse range of financial services and take pride in being trusted advisors and strategic partners for both our corporate and private clients.
We take responsibility for how we conduct our business and how we affect our customers, employees, shareholders and society at large. We support our customers in the transition to a more sustainable future because we strongly believe that a sustainable society is economically beneficial for all our stakeholders as well as for society at large. You can learn more about sustainability at SEB and how we actively support the net zero transition here.
Corporate citizenship is about how our business impacts society, and we always strive to take an active part in building for the future. For fourth year in a row, we have a global campaign that aims to support gender equality. This year’s campaign is called “Entreprenorm” and it focuses on equal entrepreneurship. At SEB, we want to change the entreprenorm in a way that more women can pitch their ideas, lead, own, and shape the future. You can read more about the Entreprenorm campaign here.
You can read more about SEB and our vision at www.seb.fi. You can also connect with us on Instagram @sebcareer where you will find stories from our previous interns and get a feel of us as a local and global employer.
