The Annual Ball Committee is looking for new members!
Are you looking for new fun challenges, a great community and an interesting project to
work on? Are you a true team player who enjoys taking responsibility and seeing results
from your work? Are you also interested in organising the SHS 115th annual ball? Then
you should take advantage of this opportunity and apply for the Annual Ball Committee!
The Annual Ball Committee (ÅFK) is a group whose main task is to organise the Best
Party in the Universe – the SHS Annual Party on 24th February. ÅFK also organises
smaller events such as the Kårpamp dinner in the autumn and possible shift dinners by
e.g. the curator and inspector.
The committee is elected in May and the activities start right away, but with an
increasing pace until the annual party. You will be part of a fantastic team and will be
involved in organising the highlight(s) of the year. You will have an excellent opportunity
to practise your skills in areas such as sales, planning and marketing, depending on your
interests.
To apply to ÅFK, you should submit a freely formulted application. Your application can
be written or in video format – the choice is yours! Describe yourself briefly and explain
why you would be a good fit for ÅFK. Also remember to leave your contact details.
Applications should be sent to pippi.blomqvist@shs.fi no later than 10 May 2023.
Interviews will be held as applications are received and the committee will be confirmed
in the middle of May.
