Summary of the Executive Board’s meeting 36/2021

Place: SEB- Sanduddsgatan 7A, våning 2 & Microsoft Teams

The following matters were addressed at the meeting:

  • Elected three regular and three deputies as student representatives in the Education Council and the Academic Council for the term of 1.1.2022-31.12.2024
  • Decided on proposals for auditors for SHS’s financial statements
  • Decided on proposals for inventory men and personal deputies

Notification matters

  • Karlsson points out that it was the wrong day in the meeting notice that was sent out, but the date was correct.
  • Karlsson reports that the board meeting was exceptionally held on Friday and not on Wednesday.
  • Hasselström announces that SHS together with KY organized the Nordic forum in Helsinki 9-11.11.2021. Our friends from Switzerland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden participated in the forum

Daniel Karlsson 

  • Preparations before Nordic Forum as well as organizing the event in cooperation with KY

  • Organized smaller cooperation between SHS and Hanken during Nordic Forum
  • Participated in Niords board meeting in Pasila
  • Held a segment about the student union during the schooling of the new Student Council

  • Participated in the last meeting of the SHS Student Council 2020-2021, and participated in the constituent meeting of the SHS Student Council 2021-2022
  • Arrangements in connection the the student union’s new Secretary General
  • Participated in a meeting with the Finnish Business School Graduates where the material for the upcoming general assembly was presented
  • Administrative work and administrative work in the absence of the Secretary General

Emma Lindvall

  • Meeting with the responsible for Educational Affairs in SSHV
  • Coordinated study circles in the basic course in mathematics and Economics
  • Supervised Skojrejs
  • Student advocacy briefing with the responsible for Social and Academic Affairs in the Board
  • Discussion with Hanken regarding if the document templates could be published again

Alexandra Eriksson

  • Breakfast with StödHankeiterna at kåren.
  • Attended the Unisport “Johtokunta meeting”
  • Hankeiternas välmåendegrupp meeting
  • Participated in SoPo- live
  • Participated in “Kylterihuone” before the FSF union meeting
  • Hoas

Daniel Hasselström

  • Planned upcoming events in the Student Union and had meetings with several committees regarding their upcoming events this fall
  • Planned and attended meetings regarding the student’s independence torchlight parade that will take place on 6.12.2021. SHS will be responsible for the sound and light at the Helsinki Senate Square during the torchlight procession and also fixing 2 guards for the event.
  • Planned the Nordic Forum
  • Held the Nordic Forum on the 9.11-11.11.2021 in Finland together with KY, for our international friend associations from Sasse, NHHS, BISO, CBS & SHSG. This forum included workshops, company visits, campus tours and dinners. The main focus of the forums was to plan the Nordic Forum 2022 & 2023 and ensure that the tradition continues. Copenhagen Business School will organize Nordic Forum 2022 and SHSG st Gallen will organize it in 2023 in accordance with Nordic Forums guidelines.
  • Coordinated and planned the Ekonombrevsutdelning
  • Helped PK arrange Skojrejs.
  • Helped to arrange this autumn’s third Källarkväll
  • Has had a meeting with Heidi’s Bier Bar and planned Halarkalas at Heidi’s every Tuesday after the Halarutdelning
  • Has represented SHS at Pörssi’s annual ball in Jyväskylä
  • Have had an Instagram takeover on shsmoments :)

Emilia Winqvist

  • Helped with the arrangements of Nordic Forum
  • Represented at Hankdammen
  • Made the newsletter
  • Fixed new SHS e-mail
  • Helped Committees with the website
  • Helped the student council with the website and G-Suites
  • Fixed on digital archive
  • Arranged coffee at Kåren with the board
  • Helped with the Board’s Takeover
  • Hade my board takeover
  • Coordinated social media

Anton Nilsson

  • Coordination of bookings during the autumn and for the coming spring
  • Training in sound and light systems.
  • The basso in the new sound system has had problems and are now fixed 
  • Attended the housing association meeting.

The meeting was concluded at 9:45 am by Chairman Karlsson.
