Summary of the Executive Board’s meeting 5/2021

Place: SEB- Sanduddsgatan 7A, våning 2 & Microsoft Teams

The meeting was opened by Chairman Karlsson at 10:02 am

Attending:

Daniel Karlsson, Anton Nilsson, Emma Lindvall, Daniel Hasselström, Emilia Donner, Alexandra Eriksson, Sebastian Ståhlberg, Kristiane Width

Notifications matters:

  • Emma Lindvall has been part of a recruitment video for the City of Helsinki
  • The new record of bouncing a ball between two members of the board with their head is now 24 times
  • Sustainability collaboration with TF has begun.
  • SHS 61 participants in the step competition walk the last week together 2,9 million steps in total.

The following matters were addressed at the meeting:

  • The Board elected Lina Svensson as the ordinary student representative to the Education Council.
  • The board has decided not to rent out Casa to KUJ do to own events on the same day.
  • The board has decided that the Freshman Committee can have their overall distribution at the Student Union according to the plan proposed .
  • The Board decided that we will not start a partnership with Sports Network.
  • The Lecturer of the year 2020 was decided to be:  Anders Löflund
  • A project grant submitted by the Annual Ball Committee was decided to postpone to the next meeting.

Actives of the Executive Board:

  • Meeting with the support association (UF)
  • Meeting with the Student Pastor
  • Attended Finland’s Ekonomers introduction seminar.
  • Meeting with the student council about the draft of the implementation plan.

Daniel Karlsson

  • Participated in UF’s first board meeting of the year
  • Meeting with KY
  • Budget meeting with the Annual Ball Committee
  • Processing of the implementation plan

Emma Lindvall

  • Work related to the Lecturer of the Year award
  • Recruitment of new student representatives
  • Presented the Education Committee at the Student Union Fair

Emilia Winqvist

  • Meeting about cooperation on sustainability with Teknologföreningen
  • Arrangements related to the Student Union Fair
  • Project about archives and a video to the Annual Ball related to it

Alexandra Eriksson

  • WSC meeting
  • Meeting with Matti Tujula regarding HOAS
  • Started planning wellness week

Emilia Donner

  • Had meetings with different company representatives and other key persons
  • Planned the Business Committee’s activities, followed up on the budget and supported members in their tasks
  • Posted the job post for recruiting a Sales Coordinator for SHS and produced marketing materials for it

Anton Nilsson

  • Still trying to get keys back from members that don’t need them.
  • Continuing going throw archives, trying to find material for the annual Ball project
  • Trying to get a new part for the sofa that is broken.

Daniel Hasselström

  • Selected the Vappen21-Team and planed the Vappen21-Team Kick-off
  • Meeting with Hanken about more and new virtual events
  • Participated in a meeting with the international team at Hanken where they presented the results from a survey about the exchange students at Hanken.
  • IBU Meeting
  • Coordinated the SHS step competition with Nylands Nation

Sebastian Ståhlberg

  • Evening School with World Student Capital
  • In contact with Vasa and others regarding the Municipals Election
  • “Kopo live” started
