Summary of Student Council meeting 1/2021
Place: Hanken School of Economics in Vaasa (Kirjastonkatu 16) and Microsoft Teams.
Time: 17:00

The meeting was opened by Student Council President Nicolina Massa at 17:02.

The following matters were addressed at the meeting:

  • Oscar Byman was chosen as the protocol adjuster and vote counter on Teams and Klaus Ahlgren in Vaasa.
  • Ville Ruokonen was chosen as the writer of the summary of the meeting.
  • The student council elected Eliott Tallqvist, Fanny Hindsberg and Alina Anderson as new members to the Elderly council.
  • Emilia Donner and Mikaela Löfström are chosen to SESS board.
  • Elected Oscar Taimitarha (Ordinary) Niclas Hanstén (Deputy), Henrika Franck (Ordinary), Niclas Lindfors (Deputy), Saara Wörlund (Ordinary) and Tuija Löfgren (Deputy) are elected to continue one more term in SHS’s Disciplinary Committee, on a proposal from the Board 2020
  • Eliott Tallqvist is chosen as a new member to SU.
  • Proposals of the Foundation Support Society´s grant activity scholarships are noted for information

Other matters

  • The council will have an evening school for discussion of the implementation plan on Monday 8.2 at 17:00
  • The Student Council will meet for its second meeting for 2021 on Wednesday 17 February at 17:00.
  • The council member will be awarded food stamps for upcoming meetings for the spring due to the current situation
  • The council will participate in SHS union exhibition next week which takes place virtually via the platform Instagram.
