Apply for a grant from SESS
The purpose of Svenska ekonomie studenters stiftelse (SESS) is to build a connection between students at Hanken and to support their societal, social, intellectual and study-related ambitions. SESS fulfils its purpose by distributing grants to Hanken students. Previously, the foundation has prioritized purposes that benefit more than one person or other non-profit purposes. This year, the emphasis also lies on purposes that promote social connection during corona-restrictions. On average 500 euros are permitted for individual purposes.
Your application should be submitted in PDF-format and include information about who is applying and for what purpose. The application should also include a specification of the amount that is applied for, a thorough description of how this will be used and whether other grants have been applied for or acquired for the same purpose from other instances. If the purpose is project-based, please include a budget in the application.
The grants for accepted applications will be distributed in December. Please note that SESS has the right to ask for a specification about the use of the scholarship afterwards. Send your application by Friday the 6th of November to sess@shs.fi
