Meeting Abstract of the Executive Board’s meeting 10/2020

Attending: Fanny Hindsberg, Nea Olsson, Filip Jägerroos, Eliott Tallqvist, Oscar Byman, Axel Toukkari, Joakim Kiuru, Maisa Dyhr, Kristiane Width
The Executive Board made decisions in the following matters during the meeting:
– The Executive Board chose the “Hankeit of the quartal”, a nomination given to a student that with their work has brought additional value to what it is to be a Hanken student.
– The Executive Board discussed the government’s decision regarding the situation with the Covid-19 virus. Decisions regarding the matter will be made on the Executive Boards next meeting.

- Official meeting regarding SHS actions to the virus, friday 13.3
- Communicated various actions taken regarding Covid-19 virus to our members and others
- Participated in the Student Council’s night school event
Fanny Hindsberg: Contacted Hanken regarding the Covid-19 virus, presented the situation and crisis communication plan at the Student Council’s evening school session, met with EC and MC presidents
Oscar Byman: Attended SYL Social Policy sectoral meeting and workshop with Kylli x SHS about upcoming Finnish community elections
Eliott Tallqvist: Developed a platform for the Virtual Student Union, Kylli x SHS coffee, Assurance of Learning meeting on Teams, SYL Social Policy sector meeting, Presented the newly revised electoral policy at the Student Council’s evening school
Joakim Kiuru: Developed a platform for the Virtual Student Union, Niord Board meeting, Met with EC and MC presidents
Maisa Dyhr: Planning of instagram posts, New date for MTEA, Prepared the Executive Boards proposal regarding the student union fee for the Student Council
Nea Olsson: Event planning, Met with EC and MC presidents, Cancelled various Executive Boards events, been in contact and communicated with Kylli
Filip Jägerrroos: Developed a platform for the Virtual Student Union, Housing board meeting, Fixed a broken toilet at the Student Union and cancelled reservations at Casa, cleaning and closed the Student Union
Axel Toukkari: Updated Social media, been in contact with Revolve, Genero and Web Weistämö regarding the webpage
Other matters:
- Discussion regarding guidelines for how members to SHS disciplinary committee are chosen.
- Discussion regarding the update of the Student Union’s strategy
- Daniel Karlsson, Jägerroos, Kiuru och Tallqvist updated others regarding the Virtual Student Union – project
