Summary of the Executive Board’s meeting 11/2023

Attending:

Rebecka Laaksonen, Emilia Öfverström, Pauliina Haarala, Sami Multisilta, Axel Anderson, Matilda Eriksson and Emilia Granqvist

The meeting was opened at 10:02 by vice chairman Laaksonen

Notification matters:

·   The board has represented I lahtis at Finland’s economists’ intro 2.0

·   The corps has received a new safe

·   The board has represented at TF’s 151st anniversary party

The following matters were addressed at the meeting:

• The board approved proposal 1/23 which is sent to the council
• The board announces the vacancy for the position of student representative (deputy) in the university college.
• The board has tentatively chosen Gensek to perform at the art university's annual party

  • The board participated in Suomen Ekonomit Intro 2.0 in Lahti
  • The Student Council workshop

Ville Ruokonen

  • Sick leave due to surgery
  • Meeting with Emmi, Gensek and Ekonsek regarding the 2022 financial statements
  • Financial management
  • Attended the Visma Sign meeting together with Gensek and Paukka regarding digital signatures at the union
  • Attended SHSUF meeting remotely
  • Finished writing the board’s motion to the General Assembly regarding the statutes
  • Planned the board’s strategy day vol 5

Axel Anderson

  • Participated in two FSF sector days where current issues in educational affairs were discussed, including admission to universities.
  • Organized a “comfort bun” event in Hanken’s foyer during exam week.
  • Organized “Feedback and snack” together with FM and Kylli.
  • Advocacy meeting with Beccy and Emilia
  • Supervised “Gamylen” together with Frida.
  • Participated in the disciplinary committee meeting.
  • Had a meeting with student representatives in IR for marketing and logistics.
  • Had a meeting with student representatives in the University College.
  • Participated in an introductory training for the chair and vice-chair of “Gulnäbbskommittén”

Emilia Öfverström

  • Participated in two SYL education affairs sector days that included a visit to the Ministry of Education and Culture.
  • Technical meeting + stage arrangement + coffee arrangements with Hanken regarding the election debate
  • Held the last election debate meeting 
  • Wrote on the sustainability strategy
  • Represented at tf’s 151st annual ball with Paukka
  • Advocacy meeting with Beccy and Axel
  • Participated in the chairman’s committee meeting regarding Vappen
  • Participated in FM aftis regarding the equality document
  • Created ig post about SHS participating in haalariäänestys

Frida Winberg

  • Had a meeting with the Equality Policy Document Revision Group
  • Worked on the Equality Policy Document  and the Equality Plan revision
  • Presented the result of the equality survey at the FM aftis
  • Presented the first draft of the Equality Policy Document Revision at the FM aftis
  • Organized the Paint and Mind 
  • Organized “Dogs at Casa”
  • Prepared for the panel discussion on Thursday
  • Supervised the “Gamylen”

Pauliina Haarala

  • Participated in a meeting with Hankens corporate relations team
  • Played padel together with the Business Committee
  • Lunch with Aktia LKV and Matilda, we decided that they will buy visibility from us according to their needs
  • Participated in TF 151 annual ball
  • Lunch meeting with Tilda Leikola who is me in the KY board, we discussed events like Summer Jobs Night
  • Planned and had the Business Committee weekly meeting, on the agenda our event with Hanken x Deloitte 21.3, excursion with SSHV and planning of the Vappu week and HND
  • Participated in the presidents subcommittee meeting
  • Participated in the Visma sign meeting
  • Meeting with PK about Kide app for Hanken Fashion Night

Rebecca Laaksonen

  • Participated in strategy day with Hanken’s management team
  • Participated in the KPV meeting in Lahti
  • Summarised Ordfu wellbeing and sustainability workshops in a ppt presentation
  • Managed Stegmätaren week 2.
  • Planned for the Ordfu workshop (Vappen) and organised the meeting. The committee heads worked admirably and the event calendar for Vappen looks great. recover deleted outlook folders from deleted outlook ost file
  • Coordinated and planned a visit for a representative from Lundaekonomerna.
  • Conducted intro training for the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Gekko.
  • Booked Song Night and initiated discussions with PK.
  • Distributed tickets to Ylonz
  • Acted as KO in the operational day to day practices
  • Scheduled a meeting with Hanken staff responsible for the integration of international students.
  • Advocacy meeting with Emilia and Axel.

Sami Multisilta

  • Attended the casa housing association’s meeting where, among other things, recycling and eco-friendly kitchens as well as general cleaning customs were discussed.
  • Management of booking calendar
  • Acquired cleaning equipment for the corps that committees can use when cleaning spaces.
  • Continued collection of corps keys
  • Fixed booking email for the soundbox

Matilda Eriksson

  • Contacted Hanken’s security manager and other student unions for informations on GDPR. 
  • Lunch with Aktia LKV and Paukka, Aktia will in the future buy visibility from SHS according to their needs.
  • Attended Hanken sustainability group meeting 
  • Made FB event and planned an  event at the well-being week.
  • Taken care of SHS emails and lists
  • Made and published some material
  • Had a meeting with student representatives in IR for marketing and logistics.
  • Wrote on the sustainability strategy
