Before this year’s Vappu festivities, it is time to focused and priortize your wellness Everyday life can easily feel lonely and boring during the on going situation. To encourage well-being during your hectic study times, SHS is organising a wellness week! The week will highlight mental as well as physical well-being.

We have put together a wonderful week of activities and programs together with our partner organisations, companies and our committees.Below you can see the program for the week that will be updated whenever a new event is published! Hope Ry donation
Spring often implies the traditional spring cleaning. If you have old clothes or things you do not use, you can donate them to Hope Ry. Hope Ry passes on the donations to low-income families with children, families with children in sudden crises and children in foster homes in Finland.

The donations should be whole and clean so that the child can feel equal among his/ her friends. You can drop off the clothes you want to donate at Kåren, where we have a collection bin in the entrance.SHS will pass on these donations so that Hope Ry can deliver directly to the donation destination to avoid unnecessary transport.

If you happen to be free on Thursday 22nd of April, you are welcome to participate in a virtual brunch via teams with a friend or why not by yourself! 

The first 20 people who sign up for the brunch will receive a ready-made banger food bag, free of charge, that contains locally and organic produced foods. One food bag is meant for 2 people. During the brunch, there will be some short programs and activities between 11-12, which everyone can join in on, regardless of whether you managed to get a food bag yourself, or if you fix your own brunch!

Note, remember to follow the ongoing guidelines given by the authorities regarding the COVID-19 virus.

Registration for the food bags will take place on Monday 19th of April at 11.00. Keep an eye out for the info event when a google form pops up so you can sign up!

The Student Council of the SHS Student Union will convene for its April meeting on Thursday April 22nd starting at 4pm!

The meeting will take place virtually through Microsoft Teams.
