Svecasa Oy Ab is looking for new board members for the 2026–2027 term. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in board work within a limited company!
Svecasa Oy Ab was founded in 1978 and offers preparatory courses for entrance exams to business schools in Finland, such as the Hanken School of Economics and the economics program at Åbo Akademi University. The prep courses take place during the spring and are divided into an intensive course, an e-course, and a language course. Currently, the company consists of a CEO, a marketing manager, lecturers, and a board of directors. The company is owned by the Foundation for Swedish-Speaking Business Students (SESS).
We are looking for members with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and majors. The most important thing is that you are interested in taking an active role on the board and developing the company, while also gaining valuable experience in board work. Please note that no prior experience is required—making Svecasa the perfect place to begin your career in board work.
The board is responsible for developing the company’s operations and acting as support and a sounding board for the CEO. The board holds regular meetings during autumn 2026 and spring 2027. A small board remuneration is paid to each member for their work and participation in meetings.
